The right candidate will be supporting various classes across the school, giving you experience to build lots of relationships and learn a variety of skills within education. The school is looking for a confident, creative and resilient behaviour mentor that can build positive learning relationships with children and young people.

Your basic requirements to get cleared for this role:

1. Relevant experience working with children or young people
2. 2 professional references to reference your recent work with SEN children
3. Strong work ethic and positive attitude
4. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to make one
5. Eligibility to work in the UK(sponsorship is not available with this role)
6. Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
7. Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs

15. Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
16. Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
17. Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
18. Supporting children's physical, social and emotional well-being
19. Completion of daily records for pupils
20. Classroom preparation for the following school day
