Our client is a well-established company within their field, committed to delivering high-quality products and services. Their success is driven by a dedicated team. They are currently seeking a proactive and organised Stores Person to join and enhance their operations.
Main Responsibilities of the Stores Person:
1. Ensure accurate tracking, ordering, and stocking of materials
2. Lead and supervise a small team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
3. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and resolve supply issues
4. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe stores environment
5. Oversee the receiving, inspecting, and dispatching of goods
6. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries
7. Safely operate a Forklift Truck to move and store materials
Skills Required:
1. Excellent ability to create and maintain order within the stores
2. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and the internal team
3. Proven experience in stores or inventory management
4. Ability to manage and motivate a small team
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials
7. Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
Benefits:

Details:
1. Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:15, Friday 08:00 - 13:00
2. Location: Stoke-on-Trent
