About the Opportunity
NES Fircroft is partnering with a large chemical manufacturer to find a skilled Process Control Engineer for their site in Hull. This permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining and developing process automation techniques, including process control, safety instrumented systems (SIS), distributed control system (DCS) hardware strategies, procedures, and documentation.
* Providing expertise in DCS/SIS systems, ideally gained in continuous refinery or chemical processes, including Honeywell TPS/Experion control systems and FSC/SM safety systems.
Requirements
* Honeywell DCS hardware knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong maintenance practices understanding for managing petrochemical plant availability cost-effectively.
* Ability to handle complex technical situations, innovate, and solve problems effectively, working both autonomously and as part of a team.
