RVT Group are excited to announce an opening for a Technical Consultant in Water Treatment to join our fast-growing team. In this specialised role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultancy services to our clients and technical support for temporary water treatment equipment in construction, municipal and process applications ensuring that they receive tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. Your primary objective will involve analysing client requirements, delivering technical advice, and devising innovative strategies to enhance water treatment processes and solutions. You'll have expertise in water treatment principles and methodology (physical and chemical processes) and work with our customers to understand their challenges, our internal sales team to quote new projects, and our operations teams to deliver, commission and optimise treatment systems. Our customers rely on RVT’s expert knowledge to advise on compliant solutions to complex challenges, and the position is a responsible but deeply satisfying one. The water treatment range includes: Chemical dosing (coagulation, flocculation, pH balancing, chlorination & dichlorination), Clarifiers, Oil removal, GAC and filtration vessels, pumps and sludge handling. Responsibilities Conduct assessments of client water treatment systems to identify improvement opportunities. Provide expert advice and recommendations on water treatment solutions, including equipment selection and process optimization. Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients and RVT Group. Develop technical proposals and presentations for clients based on assessment findings. Assist clients in developing and implementing sustainable water management practices. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in water treatment. Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients as necessary. Support sales teams in technical discussions and presentations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment or relevant technical consultancy roles. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions. Experience in developing and delivering technical presentations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional certifications or memberships in relevant industry organizations (desirable).
