Showcase are looking for a North-East based, experienced Sales Account Manager to join our expanding Sales Team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers, as well as increasing and overseeing sales.
As a Sales Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customer’s needs and requests, respond to their enquiries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
Sales Account Manager responsibilities include:
1. Managing a selection of accounts to achieve long-term success
2. Market and develop our Public Sector Framework Agreements
3. Develop positive relationships with new and existing clients
4. Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks
5. Act as the point of contact and handle customer’s individual needs
6. Attending client meetings
7. Completing administration work, as required
8. Monitor and report on account activity
9. Achieve set sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
10. Identify ways to maximise sales opportunities
11. Record quarterly sales results and annual forecasts/pipelines
12. Build strong communication lines with our supply chain
13. Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Skills & Experience
1. Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager
2. Experience with working in Public Sector Contracts or within Contract with Universities
3. Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
4. Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
5. Understanding of sales performance metrics
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
7. Organised with the ability to plan activity and balance priorities
8. Positive, ambitious, hardworking and self-motivated
9. Good presentation skills
