Successful candidates will be part of a busy team providing a service that includes answering telephone calls from patients, carers, GPs, hospitals, the Ambulance Service, and other health care agencies and professionals, processing email referrals and messages, and other administrative tasks. You will need to be able to pay attention to detail and accurately record information on the electronic patient record and pass this electronically or verbally to clinical colleagues within our community healthcare teams, in a timely way to ensure seamless and safe care to patients. A significant proportion of ISPA work entails using the telephone and a variety of software packages so good IT skills are vital. Experience within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Working hours are rostered between 8:00am and 6:00pm, seven days a week including Bank Holidays. Weekends and Bank Holidays attracts pay enhancements. The role is based in central Eastleigh, close to public transport or free parking is available on site. Visits to the office are encouraged.
