As a key contributor, you’ll play a pivotal role in testing and validating state-of-the-art electric motor and control systems. We’re looking for engineers who are independent, highly skilled, and ready to take ownership of exciting projects. This role requires a strong commitment to on-site work in Solihull (minimum 4 days a week), and we’re seeking candidates with 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain test rigs for electric motor systems and components. Conduct comprehensive dynamometer testing for performance validation of motors, motor control units (MCUs), and converters/inverters. Perform rigorous hands-on testing of electric motors, ensuring compliance with safety-critical standards. Analyze and interpret data using tools like LabVIEW or MATLAB to optimize test performance and system outputs. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support certification and quality assurance processes. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and refine testing methodologies.
