We are looking for an attentive individual to join Talbots as a Legal Assistant for our National Conveyancing department specialising within Post Completions. To be successful, you need at least 6 months experience within a property-related function.
As a Legal Assistant, you will be expected to provide accurate and timely administrative support to the conveyancing teams.

What the job involves:
* Undertake post completion processes in an accurate and timely manner, including updating relevant software including LMS, Lender Exchange, Help to Buy, Help to Buy ISA and SOS.
* Actively chase outstanding completion documents from the seller’s solicitors and/or third parties as well as collect files from transactional teams to ensure that the applications are submitted within the priority period.
* Assist lawyers in the conduct and management of standard conveyancing transactions such as sale, purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, registered titles, unregistered titles, leasehold and freehold properties.
* Proactively deal with a wide range of queries across all methods of communications, supporting all colleagues within the department as well as liaising with existing and new clients.
* Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs and accounting requirements.
What you need:
* At least 6 months experience of the property sector, within an administration function.
* Be passionate about giving outstanding client care to both clients and referees.
* Excellent administrative, planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines, understanding the importance of working to strict time scales.

Pay: From £22,682.16 per year
