Job Overview
Are you an experienced & creative Clinical Psychologist, passionate about service innovation & development? We are seeking an enthusiastic & compassionate Clinical Psychologist interested in Eating Disorders to join a new multidisciplinary team of professionals (Consultant Psychiatrist, Highly Specialist Clinicians, Dietician) providing support for children/young people (CYP) and adults living with severe and/or complex Eating Disorders in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for the post holder to drive innovation throughout the Eating Disorders Service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote the psychological health and well-being of clients in the Eating Disorders team.
2. Ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service.
3. Supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists and clinical team members.
4. Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise delegated responsibility for the governance of psychological practice.
5. Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development.
6. Propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria:
* Post Graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or relevant Applied Psychology.
* Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Broad range of post qualification experience working at an expert level in an autonomous capacity.
Desirable criteria:
* Relevant child-focused therapeutic training.
