Apply today and discover where your expertise can take you with Yusen Logistics Key Responsibilities As our Automation & Capacity Planning Manager, you will lead the operational planning and optimisation at our new, fully automated SDC site in Northampton. Ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the site, you will align customer forecasts and real-time volumes with resource and automation capabilities. You will play a central role in developing robust capacity plans, enhancing layout and storage solutions, and managing the utilisation of automated systems to improve productivity and space usage. Additionally, you will: - Build trusted relationships with customers and manage system-related queries - Produce and maintain accurate management reports, tracking performance and variances - Provide training, development, and mentoring to your team through the PDR process Key Requirements To be considered as our Automation & Capacity Planning Manager, you will need: - A proven track record in a similar role - Experience with demand forecasting and inventory flow management - Experience of managing projects and achieving tight deadlines - Experience leading and influencing teams in an environment of change - Experience of warehouse management systems - Knowledge of warehouse layouts, material handling equipment, and storage optimisation strategies - An understanding of throughput capacities within a semi-automated site - Excellent PowerBI skills The closing date for this role is 25th April 2025.
