Here at Clockhouse Vets, we are hiring for a friendly Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and friendly person with a strong passion for animal care and welfare. The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a very busy team but also possess the confidence to work alone from time to time. Previous work experience within a veterinary practice is desirable (voluntary or paid), along with a willingness to learn. Having work experience with animals or in a healthcare setting would also be beneficial. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the practice team, working with our Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients. Main elements of the role will involve to provide a gold standard service to our patients and clients, following cleaning protocols to maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment and preparing and maintaining medical equipment. Your Skills And Experience Experience of working as part of a team and building positive working relationships with colleagues. Able to provide exceptional care to clients and patients. Client care skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Able to prioritise a range of tasks and own workload. Flexible and willing to learn. An understanding of the purpose and importance of regulation and compliance. About The Rota And Salary This is a part-time permanent role working 24 hours per week. This will include 3 x 8 hour days per week with a 1 hour lunch break unpaid. The salary will be up to £14,613.08 DOE per annum. Why join us?
