The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible to develop and execute the trade marketing plan in line with sales and marketing objectives within the allocated marketing budget. Main responsibilities include developing trade materials, including sales literature, brochures, and trade presentations, to support sales of Délifrance products. This role is essential in supporting the sales team by providing high-quality, impactful marketing assets that communicate the unique value and benefits of our bakery products to key stakeholders and customers.
Marketing Material Development:
1. Create and design compelling sales literature such as brochures, product catalogues, flyers, and other marketing collateral tailored for bakery customers.
2. Design and produce trade presentations and pitch decks to support the sales team in engaging and persuading customers to list products.
Branded Product Launch Strategy & Coordination:
Manage Délifrance product launches in the foodservice sector checking that everything is created to successfully launch products – labels, product specs, etc.
Website:
1. Liaise with the Global Digital team to ensure that the Global digital strategy is translated to the UK.
2. Manage Délifrance UK website, ensuring all data is up to date and highlighting improvements when appropriate.
3. Regularly update website with new products, recipes, reports, etc.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
1. Conduct market research and analyse competitor marketing materials and catalogues to identify best practices and new opportunities for promoting bakery products.
2. Use market insights to develop sales tools, ensuring that materials are relevant, competitive, and aligned with industry trends.
Branding & Messaging Consistency:
1. Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and tone across all trade marketing materials to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and positioning.
2. Ensure all materials reflect the company’s values, product quality, and commitment to innovation within the bakery industry.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the Category Management, Marketing, Product Development and Sales to gather key product information and insights for marketing materials.
2. Liaise with graphic designers, copywriters, and external agencies to produce high-quality, visually appealing content.
