Bookkeeper/Office Administrator Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire This is an exceptional opportunity to work within an exciting SME manufacturing business on a fast growth path. Following a recent acquisition of the business by a US equity firm, the business is looking to further its growth. We need a part-time bookkeeper/administrator to manage its bookkeeping processes and office administration. This role has a very broad brief due to the size of the company, and requires an individual with capacity to be flexible and prepared to turn their hand to a number of differing tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the company's financial records and bookkeeping processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions - Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Assist with budgeting and cash forecasting activities - Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies - Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings - Fulfil various administration roles as required such as maintaining company documents & record keeping, arranging meetings, appointments, taking phone calls, various marketing activities Requirements: - Proven experience as a bookkeeper - Proficiency in Sage 200 Standard and Quickbooks Online accounting software - Experience with HMRC VAT and PAYE requirements - Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes and procedures - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices - Experience within manufacturing organisation &/or stock management an advantage - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
