The Company -

Their unique approach involves delivering all services in-house, offering end-to-end management of infrastructure projects including project design, construction, energisation, and handover.
The Role -
The CAD Technician will work closely with the design team and independently on CAD projects related to Solar PV and BESS installations. They will create surface and solid CAD models according to project specifications, review designs with clients, and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, they will conduct final model rendering and deliver the completed product.
Key Responsibilities -
* Prepare accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD software.
* Collaborate with the design team to plan, design, and execute engineering projects.
* Modify and revise designs to meet project specifications and industry standards.
* Conduct site visits to determine the best placement and layout of solar panels.
* Gather essential data for project completion, including grading markers and other relevant information.
* Configure, install, and wire photovoltaic solar systems, including the electrical wiring and fixtures.
* Connect solar systems to the local power grid and perform necessary testing to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Maintain records of all maintenance and installation tasks, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
* Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and their components, minimizing downtime and ensuring high levels of operational reliability.
* Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, best practices, and guidelines.
Qualifications/ Skills and Experience:
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical BoP drafting, specifically related to solar energy projects.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with solar PV systems, electrical wiring, and system installations.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in challenging environments.
* Certification: Certification in Electrical or Solar Energy Technology from an accredited institution is preferred.
