Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Build, manage, and develop a portfolio of distributor accounts, outlining clear goals and objectives to achieve company growth targets.
* Biosecurity Expertise: Provide technical advice on hygiene and biosecurity, supporting distributors and end-users with training and site visits, with the aim of improving animal health and profitability for the producer by using Evans Vanodine products.
* Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to introduce our products to new customers, driving growth in the poultry and swine sectors.
* Travel: Frequent nationwide travel including some overnight stays, and occasional international travel to support our presence at industry exhibitions and shows.
* Collaboration: Work with internal marketing, technical, and sales teams to identify new market sectors and product innovation opportunities based on market feedback.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
* A strong understanding of hygiene and biosecurity in poultry and/or swine sectors (ideally both).
* Experience working with hygiene and disinfection chemical manufacturers is highly desirable but not mandatory. General industry experience regarding biosecurity in poultry/swine is most important.
* Experience of remote working in an existing national or regional Sales Manager role within the business-to-business (B2B) sector.
* Highly proficient in spoken and written English. The applicant must be very comfortable speaking with customers from farmers to corporate management.
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics. Further education desirable.
* Good IT literacy including One Drive, Office 365 and social media. Knowledge of sales analysis tools such as PowerBI would be advantageous.
* Current UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Any pre-existing long-term medical conditions which may impact on ability to enter and operate within farm and agricultural areas as part of this role must be declared prior to interview.
