The Role
Hours Per Week: 37
Days per Week: Monday - Friday
Basis: Full-time, permanent position with hybrid working available
Annual Salary Range: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum
Location: Can be based in our Coventry, Wakefield or Hawarden site
The day to day
* Providing 1st line day-to-day operational support for in-house software issues
* Identify system problems and liaise with Development and/or Infrastructure teams to resolve the problem
* Managing requests via the Service Desk software
* Undertaking routine and periodic administrative and maintenance tasks in association with our systems
* Providing bespoke business information on both an ad-hoc and scheduled basis
* Create and maintain various automated reports such as KPIs, SLAs for Customers
The Essentials
Required
* Excellent communication skills
* Exposure to Windows 10+
* Exposure to Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook etc)
* Experience of T-SQL and/or SQL using SQL Server Management Studio
Desirable
* A Degree in a Science, IT, or related subject
* Experience with Microsoft Office VBA language
* Experience in using Active Directory.
* Experience of a service desk software system
Once deemed capable, the applicant will be required to be on the Out of Hours on-call rota.
A full driving licence would be advantageous.
