Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
We are working with a reputable secondary school in Horsham that is committed to providing an excellent education and nurturing environment for students. The school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs.
Details:
* Location: Horsham
* Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with SEN in the classroom.
* Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Adapt and differentiate lessons in collaboration with teachers.
* Support students' social and emotional development.
* Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
* Work with parents, teachers, and external agencies to support student progress.
Requirements:
* Passion for education and working with young people.
* Experience with SEN students is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
