PE Global is recruiting a Performance Systems Integration Engineer for our multinational mining and construction client based in Peterborough. This role is hybrid and an initial 12-month contract role. This is an automotive position and does require IC engine knowledge. Responsibilities of the role: Develop end-to-end performance system definitions, including system architecture and calibration requirements. Guide the performance development cycle, from concept selection to product development and support. Play a crucial role in integrating products into various applications. Utilise data-driven approaches to define problems, compare solutions, and draw conclusions. Deliver clear communication with cross-functional teams and document project deliverables. Apply current procedures and technologies to resolve technical issues and drive system-level trade-offs. Requirements: Accredited Engineering/Science/Technology, Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or PhD Engine and / or Aftertreatment performance development Engine/powertrain Control Systems 0D/1D simulation tools to design and optimize systems Technical expertise of IC engines, performance simulation tools and control systems Great data analysis and problem-solving ability Communication and collaboration, to be a team player Matlab/Simulink, Office 365, GT Power or Ricardo wave experience is highly desirable for transferable skills Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
