We are looking for a proficient Payroll & Benefits Officer to work at Londons most exciting entertainment venue, who will be dedicated to the Hippodrome with a desire to develop their career. As a Payroll & Benefits Officer, you will be responsible for administering the end-to-end payroll process for our employees, ensuring that all pay-related matters are processed accurately and on time. You will also play a crucial role in managing employee benefits schemes and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation. What youll do: Manage and process monthly end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including tax and National Insurance contributions, pensions, statutory payments and the submission of PAYE and RTI filings. Maintain accurate payroll records. Calculating and process payments, deductions, pensions, and benefits, ensuring they are accurately reflected in employees' payslips. Handle employee payroll & benefits queries, providing clear and timely responses. Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll is processed in alignment with company policies Stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and HMRC guidelines. Administer employee benefits schemes, including healthcare, pension plans, and other schemes Assist with audits and year-end processes, including P11Ds and annual salary reviews Who you are: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role Proficient in managing payroll systems; experience with Fourth Hospitality is advantageous High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for liaising with employees and management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in payroll administration or benefits management, ideally within a UK-based organisation. Strong knowledge of UK payroll and benefits legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, pension schemes, and taxation. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. A professional, proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service and team collaboration.
