Our client is looking for long term agency support working with their service users in the community. You will be working with all types of ages and conditions, often recently out of hospital needing support to be independent in their own homes.
Shifts are likely to be 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pms, you can opt for earlies or lates or a mixture
Package
£14ph weekdays and £17ph for weekend shifts.
Holiday pay on top so £19.05ph total pay for weekend shifts for example.

Responsibilities
Visiting service users in their own homes, assisting them in day to day living tasks to ensure they are as happy and healthy as possible
This will include personal hygiene, getting washed/showered, dressed and assisting with meals and drinks as well as taking to appointments, the shops and assisting with medication
Being a familiar face, someone to make them feel comfortable and safe in your presence and be improving their lives wherever possible.
Requirements
Previous care experience, ideally community care but all settings considered ( live in, hospital, 1-2-1, supported living, nursing homes etc)
You will be trustworthy, sensitive and able to deliver great levels of care and support whilst ensuring this is done so in the most dignified way possible
You will be a team player but equally able to work on own initiative and have a genuine passion for working with health care
Up to date manual handling/first aid and infection control certificates. However, refresher training can be provided.
Driving license essential and own transport.
