IT Technician / Desktop Support Engineer required for my client based near Diss for a 3-6 month contract. Rate TBC / outside IR35 Key Responsibilities Serve as the point of contact for all IT support requests and queries for clients Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers, smartphones, tablets, printers and network devices Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately Key Skills High level of 2nd line IT support skills and very strong troubleshooting skills Experience in the installation, configuration and support of desktop/laptops, various types of peripheral hardware (including printers, smartphones and tablets) Experience with Microsoft 365 would also be an advantage Experience of managing tablets/mobiles and Windows 10/11 devices with Intune or equivalent Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems Strong communication skills Driving License & own vehicle
