Pinnacle Group are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our communities. You will be joining our Facilities Management team based in Abbey Park School, Redhouse Way, Swindon, SN25 2ND. Whilst having a hands-on approach you will be responsible for leading and managing the contract cleaning team delivering a safe compliant service. Key responsibilities will include:
• Effective management of the contract cleaning team, monitoring progress against individual objectives and providing guidance and direction to staff where needed.
• To audit the standards of cleaning in all areas reporting Health and Safety concerns ensuring shortfalls are rectified
• To ensure ad-hoc cleaning issues are picked up, responded and managed in a timely manner
• To ensure all staff understand the correct use of cleaning materials and are instructed in the safe use of all substances and manage to COSHH regulation.
Key requirements:
• Experience of leading a team within a cleaning services environment
• Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
Please Note: For this role, confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
