A Mechanical Supervisor is sought to join the Engineering & Manufacturing team in Rugby, providing leadership and overseeing the operational aspects of the department.

Description
* Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby.
* Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
* Monitor and control maintenance costs.
* Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
* Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Supervisor should have:
* Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing operations and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficial.
