Job Description
Our client is a specialist in the construction sector who are now seeking an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Managing the costs from the early design plans, through to the practical completion & beyond, you will be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations and managing variations and changes

Responsibilities:
1. Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers and site staff.
2. Maintain financial control of projects including monthly valuations, job costing reviews and final accounts.
3. Follow up monthly valuations to make sure that payments are received on time as per the agreed contract conditions.
4. Drive in the commercial activities of the business and provide support/advice in this regard to the Projects Managers as required.
5. Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews.
Criteria:
6. Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction or similar
7. Min 1 - 2 years post qualification experience in a surveying role
8. Strong IT literacy including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
9. Ability to deliver on-time quality work within budget and with minimal supervision.
10. Commercially aware
11. Flexible to travel as required
Salary is up to £60k (depending upon experience) + a flexible benefits package which can be discussed upon application.
