About the Role:
To provide proactive administrative support and advice to SLSQ North Barrier Branch Committees, Office Bearers and Clubs. This role is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the North Barrier Regional Office.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Front of house and answering incoming calls.
* Taking minutes at Council and Executive meetings.
* Prepare and distribute correspondence on behalf of the Branch President, Committees and other Branch key stakeholders.
* Prepare and distribute minutes, emails, letters, memorandums, circulars, agendas, reports.
* Administer Special Events with the Executive Committee and assist with routine enquiries and correspondence.
* Assist the Branch Director of Finance & Planning with preparation and submission of financial reports and audit requirements.
* Coordinate facilities and arrangements for Branch meetings, presentations and functions/dinners within the region.
* Attend to pre and post administration for surf sport events.
* Maintain a current and up-to-date Regional Office Operations Manual (Administration) for your region.
* Provide administrative support and distribute results for surf sport events.
* Enter relevant Branch event dates into SLSQ Calendar on a regular basis.
* Assist relevant Regional Staff members to prepare and compile reports or statistics for SLSQ and Branch reporting purposes as required or requested.
* Assist with any equipment and logistics arrangements.
* Organise relevant training for staff, volunteers and club office managers/administrators as requested.
* Compile and circulate the Branch Annual Report for your region.
* Prepare and submit all reporting documentation including ATO, ACNC and Office of Fair Trading.
* Provide reports on all activities and issues to the Regional Manager, ACM, State Administration & IT Committee, and Branch Council and Executive Committees within your region.
* Assist with data entry at carnivals on weekends, if required.
Required Education & Experience:
Essential
* Working with Children Blue Card.
* Understanding of Surf Lifesaving or a similar community/volunteer-based activity, including experience working with volunteers.
* Experience providing efficient and accurate support to various stakeholders in administration and support roles.
* Proven experience submitting clear and accurate administrative reporting within set timeframes.
* Strong computer literacy and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
* Outstanding organisational skills and time management, with ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet various deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously while also providing a high level of support.
Highly Desirable
* Understanding of MYOB accounting software.
* Ability to publish using Canva program.
* Experience using SLSA’s Surfguard membership database.
