As Childcare Co-ordinator, you will bring your expertise and energy to helping shape and deliver a creche service which will run alongside our community based ESOL and Digital Skills classes. The creche will enable those who would otherwise be unable to attend classes, due to childcare limitations, to access the vital education they need. We have historically partnered with a third-party creche provider to facilitate this service but are now looking to develop our own in-house provision. The creche will run at the same location as our classes (this could be a church hall or other community building). Parents will always remain on site and childcare provision will never be for more than 2 hours at a time whilst classes are taking place. The children who access the creche will be a variety of ages (0-5), from a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds and with varying levels of English.
We will be looking to develop our provision gradually and will be starting with a Pilot during the Summer Term 2025 (June – July 2025). During the pilot we will run one creche alongside one women only ESOL class at a city centre location for 6 weeks. You will play a vital role in the Hope English School Management Team and work closely with the CEO to ensure this new service is delivered to the highest standard possible. By being part of a small and agile organisation, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape and influence operations for the better.
