Early Career Researcher: Data Science / Data Analytics
£24,404 per annum (pro rata)
Part time/Fixed term - 18.5 hours per week/12 month contract
Role Overview
As a Early Career Researcher, you will work alongside our research team to develop data tools, create interactive dashboards, and contribute to research projects. This will provide you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, enhancing your skills and preparing you for a successful career in data science or analytics.

Are you looking to apply your data science or data analytics skills in a real-world setting? The NTU VCSE Data and Insights Observatory is offering an exciting fixed term opportunity to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful research projects.
Since its establishment in 2022, The Observatory has become a leading research centre dedicated to collaborating with and for the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Our mission is to measure, evaluate, and communicate trends and insights that empower the sector to analyse existing data and generate new data, using rigorous methodologies that reduce data redundancy and duplication.
Key Skills and Experience Required
* Familiarity with data analytics, data cleaning, and visualization techniques.
* Experience with Python and data analysis tools.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Learning and Development Opportunities
