Reception Manager – Central London – up to £50,000
COREcruitment is working with a multi-site client who provides dining experiences in the heart of London. Known for its innovative dishes, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance, this restaurant is committed to delivering excellence to its guests.
They are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Reception Manager to join their team and lead front-of-house operations. The Reception Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the reception area, providing exceptional service to guests, and managing the reception team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding customer service. Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
2. Guest Relations: Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism. Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive guest experience.
3. Reception Operations: Oversee all reception activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. Maintain an organized and efficient reception area, ensuring all procedures are followed.
4. Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between guests and the restaurant management. Ensure clear and effective communication of guest needs and requests to the appropriate departments.
5. Administrative Duties: Manage reception-related administrative tasks such as maintaining records, handling payments, and preparing reports. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation.
6. Customer Experience: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience. Implement feedback mechanisms and address any areas of improvement.
7. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and safe reception area.
8. Marketing Support: Assist in promoting restaurant events and special offers. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and communication.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
2. Exceptional customer service skills and a strong guest-focused approach.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
5. Proficiency in using reservation and point-of-sale systems.
