Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced band 6 Physiotherapist to join our outstanding Pelvic Health Team here at Salford Care Organisation, part of the Northern Care alliance. You will be well supported, working alongside an experienced band 7 and band 8a team lead to treat a variety of pelvic, obstetric, gynaecological and urological disorders in both male and female clients. You will work closely with MDT colleagues to enable the best possible outcomes for patients. As a valued member of the team you will be encouraged to be proactive in supporting the team leads with service development as well as contribute to local and national data collection and audit in return the team and the wider Physiotherapy department will support your professional development Main duties of the job To work within the out-patient Pelvic health Physiotherapy Service clinical setting. To undertake advanced assessment and treatment of pelvic health patients, who may have complex and/or chronic presentations. To develop specialist treatment plans and provide the rehabilitative and educational input indicated and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. Contribute to data collection for both local and national audits. To lead assessment, liaison, and decision-making processes for patients. To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard, using specialist pelvic health knowledge from theoretical and practical experience. To support the team lead and service manager in the planning, co-ordination, and evaluation of the pelvic health Physiotherapy Service on a day-to-day basis, and to cover for any other area with this specific caseload as necessary. Be able to deputise for the Band 7 in their absence and attend meetings as required. To be able to work across 7 days and contributing to weekend working. To supervise and teach more junior members of the team and students on placement.
