This post will be 32 hours a week and requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs.

Job responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
* You will be maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which you are responsible, reporting any deficiencies and following all local policies and protocols.
* Also providing clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in DPHC dental centres, enhancing force generation and operational capability and minimising dental morbidity on operations.
* There are no expected Line Management responsibilities with this role; any future changes will be discussed with the successful applicant at the time.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* National Examining Board for Dental Nurse (NEBDN) Certificate or National Vocational Qualification in Oral Healthcare Dental Nursing Level 3.
Registrations and Memberships
* Registration with the General Dental Council (please include details on any current, spent, or impending restrictions to practice).
Experience
* A Full United Kingdom driving licence to enable working from another local military dental centre, if required.
* Evidence of indemnity cover for general dental practice.
* Evidence of currency with GDC Continued Professional Development requirements.
* Be prepared to contribute to the development of staff skills and knowledge.
* Confidence in using Information Technology.
* Prepared to cover out of hours dental duties when required.
