The Maintenance Supervisor role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of client properties. This role involves managing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from pre-planned maintenance and repairs to refurbishment and installation work., While the role has a mechanical or electrical trade bias, candidates must demonstrate extensive knowledge of both M&E disciplines, as they will be expected to support site engineers, address uncertainties, and undertake general building duties as required. This flexibility ensures a seamless service across the client portfolio. The position includes a 40-hour working week, with adjustments for travel beyond a reasonable area, and participation in a 24/7 call-out rota to provide comprehensive client support. Callouts are compensated with a call-out allowance and a minimum payment for attendance. Accurate and thorough reporting is also a crucial aspect of the role, as all tasks must be documented properly to ensure smooth administration and invoicing processes. * Planned and reactive building maintenance whether specialised or general as directed and scheduled by the Engineering Helpdesk
* Installation works associated with building maintenance again whether general or in line with specialist bias
* Completion of maintenance and reactive job sheets, as issued and scheduled by the Engineering Helpdesk
* Weekly time sheet and service report sheet submission to the Engineering Helpdesk for all PPM and reactive works done during a given period
* General building services works as necessary on any site designated by the Engineering Helpdesk
* Completion and review of all log books, service report sheets as required per site
* Report of any defects found during maintenance or service attendance
* Health & safety compliance including appropriate use of Personnel Protective Equipment in carrying out your duties
* Always wearing the company supplied uniform. Causal clothing of any type is not permitted
* Liaison with the client representatives and customers as necessary
* Operation of the Safe systems of work permit system to ensure safe practices, where applicable
Trade qualification, City & Guilds or recognised apprenticeship NVQ 2 (6017) or equivalent
* F-Gas / HVACR 2079
* Proven track record showing experience within the building services industry as an Engineer / Technician
* Experience of building services, with operation of PPM systems
* Experience on Mechanical or Electrical installations
* L8 awareness on Hot & Cold water systems
* Experience as appointed Authorised Person. HV, LV, Mech ,CS
* Clear well Presented paperwork
* Good client interface skills
