Introduction
We're looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join our ambitious and talented team to own and drive our marketing automation in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries.
At Allianz Trade, Marketo is central to our Adobe marketing technology stack (with Adobe Experience Platform in the process of being implemented too), powering our lead forms and lead management, our prospect and customer campaigns, and lead scoring.
As Marketing Automation Manager, you'll be responsible for the continuous evolution of our Marketo strategy, with a particular focus on developing lead generation and customer retention campaigns and programs that drive our commercial performance.
You'll work closely with marketing colleagues in the UK and Northern Europe Marketing Hub as well as our Group headquarters, developing strong relationships that support our continuous drive for digital marketing excellence.
Key areas of responsibility
* Contribute to the evolution of our integrated digital marketing strategy to acquire new customers and retain clients through advanced marketing automation.
* Create best-in-class email campaigns in collaboration with local Content Managers, from newsletters and ABM campaigns, through to automated nurtures, continually testing new approaches to optimise performance.
* Work with Marketing Hub colleagues to drive improvements to the prospect website experience, specifically calls to action and forms powered by Marketo.
* Leverage our lead scoring program to nurture warm prospects and drive marketing qualified leads.
* Own the lead management process (from website leads to Salesforce integration), continue to implement best practices in line with Group initiatives as well as working closely with our internal telesales team to identify areas of improvement.
* Maintain robust reporting across all campaigns and share insights and ideas with colleagues that drive continuous optimisation.
* Assume the role of Data Protection Champion for the UK & Ireland marketing team, advising on GDPR best practice across our electronic marketing communications.
* Share Marketo best practice with marketing automation specialists across Northern Europe to help drive digital marketing maturity in our region.
* Own the maintenance of UK-IE and Nordic Marketo workspaces and work proactively with our Group and regional operations teams to ensure best practice set-up.
* Own prospect data hygiene, working collaboratively with Marketing Hub colleagues and external suppliers to enrich our sizable prospect database to maximise delivery rates and segmentation opportunities.
Key skills and attributes
* Experience of marketing automation, including the use of Marketo (Marketo Certifications desirable but not essential).
* Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
* Proven project management skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A strong team player with the ability to develop close working relationships.
