The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a part time role on behalf of an Energy & Development in Leighton Buzzard.
The Role
To provide support to the accounts department and be an integral member of a busy team. You will be required to maintain up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers, reconcile client accounts and to be pro-active, trustworthy and honest.
Key Responsibilities:
The day to day duties of the Accounts Assistant will consist of:
1. Creation of sales invoices
2. Entry of sales and purchase invoices on to sage line 50
3. Co-ordination of invoice approvals
4. Maintenance of paper invoice & scanned invoice files including HMRC documentation
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Bank payments in line with mandates
7. Management of expenses
8. Checking of VAT classifications
9. Proactive management of debtors and creditors

Salary and Benefits
The Salary for the role of an Accounts Assistant will be paying up to £30k based on experience and skill sets. This is a part-time role in the office, Hours of work are 8 hours per day for 3 days, 6 hours per day for 4 days and this will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. BUPA healthcare, Performance Bonus and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
