The on target earning potential for this role is £38,371 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £33,871, plus a qualified estimate of £4,500 in gratuities and service charge. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: You’ll assist and supervise a section of our Housekeeping team as part of a team of 4 Assistant Housekeeping Managers. The areas of responsibility are, Linen room, Room Attendants, Porters, Public areas, Turndown and training Supporting your own learning and development, you ‘ll participate in a rotation of the reporting teams every 8 months, providing you with a great understanding of the teams’ needs as well as understanding all aspects of running the Housekeeping department Attending and participating in daily and monthly departmental meeting, you’ll have a key role in the set up and service of the Hotel, maintaining and continually improving the standards and quality of our service and exceeding guest expectations Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you’ll have responsibility for stocktake completion and stock ordering in the most organised and efficient ways Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas Managing competing, and sometimes conflicting, priorities for you and your team, you’ll be constantly flexing your organisational muscles and creatively establishing the solutions to get these priorities right As a key role withing the management team of Housekeeping you will be responsible for the running of the shift for that day or evening, from ensuring that our VIP guest rooms are prepared as requested to ensuring that the team are set up for success Communicating with Front of House, Events and other operational area to support in planning and executing any special requests Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way The kind of person we're looking for: You have fantastic previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the Hospitality industry Well organised, punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule, you’re approachable, helpful and self-motivated A high performer that’s always looking for a better way to do things; you’re highly organised and adept at managing complex situations, invariably able to multi-task throughout the day You genuinely care about people, you’re compassionate, and a very natural relationship builder; collaborating with others comes naturally to you, you know that it’s the sum of the parts that will reap the greatest reward Up for doing things differently, you’re comfortable working in an environment where things move quickly, and where a can-do attitude is key Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into your Perkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
