Automation Engineer – Collaborative Robotics (Cobots)

Your Role:
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing Cobot applications using CAD and virtual simulations
2. Creating customised mechanical solutions based on project requirements
3. Developing electrical designs, including component selection and circuit layouts
4. Programming and integrating industrial devices such as PLCs, safety scanners, vision systems, and sensors
5. Creating electrical schematics and implementing control circuits
6. Programming Cobots and ensuring seamless hardware/software integration
7. Overseeing manufacturing processes and supporting the build phase
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
9. Installing and commissioning Cobots at customer sites
10. Providing ongoing support to maintain high customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
1. Degree in Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a related field
2. Basic CAD and simulation experience
3. Familiarity with programming and electrical systems
4. Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
5. Passion for innovation and a proactive approach
6. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
7. Experience with Robotics or Cobots
8. Knowledge of Java and/or Python (a plus)
