We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join the Logistics department at our Selby site in North Yorkshire. This is a full time permanent position working 39 hours per week.
Overview of the role
Working a rotational days/afternoon pattern of an average of 39 hours per week:
Days: Monday – Thursday from 05:45 to 14.00, and 05:45 to 13.00 on Fridays
Afternoons : Monday – Thursday from 13.45 to 22.00 and 11.45 to 19.00 on Fridays
Shift premium = 26.33% for rotational shifts and 35% for permanent nights.

Responsibilities of our Logistics Operative
High level of processes / FLT / Combi Lift skills, knowledge and ability
Fully trained and be able to operate FLT and associated attachments to the required standards,
Complete the work schedule using SAP / RF gun.
Follow inbound / outbound delivery schedule
Support additional departments when necessary
Supporting Team leader in training & developing the team
Managing/performing the day-to-day operation of the department; maximizing utilization and output, minimizing losses including damages.
Ensuring that processes deliver their intended results and outcomes by monitoring; Key Management Indicators (KMIs), Key Activity Indicators (KAIs), Key performance Indicators (KPIs).
Periodically inspect products before despatch to ensure quality of the highest standard
What we are looking for in our Logistics Operative
You will have:
Accredited lift truck training
Previous experience working in a factory/ warehouse process environment.
Able to follow instruction and loading schedules
Flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be.
Basic understanding of touch screen technology
Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude”
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
Able to act quickly when problems arise
