We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, inspirational Shop Manager to join Woodgreen at our Daventry Charity Shop. With experience in retail management, staff development and team leadership this is a great opportunity to revamp our store and make your own mark whilst creating a positive and inclusive environment and building a great team of volunteers. By doing this you will play a vital role in raising the funds to help us to continue to support pets and their people. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our shop with your primary responsibility being to ensure that it runs smoothly across all seven days of the week. You will lead your team to success and maximise shop profit and achieve agreed sales targets by; Ensuring maximum stock availability through the effective generation, sourcing and processing of high- quality stock. Maintaining continual high standards of shop presentation, back of house operations and customer service. Ensuring all volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, motivated, managed and supported. Presenting and maintaining the highest standards of shop and window merchandising and visual layout. Ensuring that all financial, cash handling and security policies and procedures are adhered to. If you have demonstrable experience of working in the Charity Retail sector or another retail management sales environment with a personable, hands on commitment to achieving the highest retail standards we would love to hear from you This is a full time, permanent position with a salary of £25,518.25 per annum. A flexible approach to working will be required as the shop is open seven days per week.
