Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our Building Support Services management team at Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough. If you’re ready to take the next step in your career as Building Support Services Manager (Cleaning), we’d want to hear from you!
Our service is supported by over 60 dispersed colleagues who provide cleaning services across all Thirteen buildings with communal areas. The mobile cleaning team works across the Tees Valley between 7am - 7pm and we also have static cleaners at our extra care and supported housing schemes.
Reporting into Dawn, Head of Building Support Services, you’ll join our wider Building Support Services management team of 3. You’ll also have 4 direct reports, including 3 Supervisors and an Administration Support, to support you in your role.
This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work flexibly between the office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough and home. As a management team, we ensure we're visible and accessible at Hudson Quay for the teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage our in-house and contracted cleaning services. You’ll deliver on KPIs including performance, service standards and customer satisfaction.
* Manage performance of your service, whilst also continuing to embed great culture. Our vision is to have teams who hold themselves to account by being proactive and courageous. You’ll empower your teams to own their role, to provide a fantastic service to customers.
* Health and safety is a key element of this role, alongside compliance with regulations, and understanding risk and implications.
* Ensure data and information is recorded, accurate and analysed to understand efficiencies and improve capacity. You'll be responsible for service systems, data, information and the processing of it, as well as the associated equipment.
* Manage service budgets and costs to ensure value for money for the customer.
About You:
* Passionate about delivering a customer-driven service. You’ll always look for continuous improvement to meet the needs of our customers. You’ll be someone who celebrates the positives and implements learnings.
* Fantastic people and communication skills. You’ll collaborate with other internal teams, contractors and interact with customers.
* You’ll provide your team with clear management and accountability, to deliver great performance. If you haven’t been a people manager before, but have some great transferable skills, don’t rule yourself out!
* A working knowledge of health and safety and regulation requirements.
* A good level of IT literacy and comfortable using technology and a range of systems. You’ll use data analysis to find solutions.
* Productive time management with the ability to organise, prioritise work and delegate accordingly. You’ll be able to work proactively, problem solve and deal with reactive situations on a day-to-day basis.
