Position: Teacher of Design Technology (Product Design)

Contract: Full-Time, September 2024 - December 2024 (Potential to Extend)
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology with a focus on Product Design for a long-term role in Leeds LS16. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to providing an exceptional learning experience.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
2. Right to work in the UK
3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
4. Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4, preferably with a focus on Product Design
What We're Looking For:
5. Exceptional subject knowledge
6. Excellent organisational and time management skills
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
8. Initiative in planning and preparing engaging lessons
9. Proficiency in assessing pupil progress through formative and summative assessments
10. Strong communication skills
11. A commitment to making lessons fun and engaging
12. Participation in parents evenings and staff meetings
