Job Overview
The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office operations, including but not limited to answering phones, fulfilling customer orders, filing, data entry, and some bookkeeping operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized and able to take the initiative in completing tasks with minimal supervision.
Duties
* Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
* Maintain office supplies and order new items when needed.
* Organise files and documents.
* Provide administrative support to staff members.
* Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks.
* Some bookkeeping with expense management, invoicing and credit control.
* Other duties as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency in Xero is highly advantageous, but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Familiarity with general office equipment and clerical procedures is beneficial.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Hours
This role is for 2 days a week (one must be a Friday, the other is negotiable) working 8:30am to 3pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; however, there can be flexibility on hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
