Position Description Position Title: FTC Production Graphics Support Coordinator Division: GT&O Location: Chiswick, London & Stockley Park Department: Broadcast Operations Reports to: Manager - Broadcast Graphics Design & Projects Grade: Warner Bros Discovery has a large set of sports channels and productions housed under the WBD Sports structure. Our two big brands include Eurosport and TNT Sports. From Grand Tours to Grand Slams. From Formula-E to golf. We even cover the Olympic games. This role will be the London-based production graphics support coordinator working alongside the Production Graphics Designer & Support Coordinator. You will be someone who loves sport and wants to weave a story around the games being played. It will be beneficial to have experience of working in fast-paced live graphics broadcast environments and a have good knowledge of operating at least one broadcast graphics system. Your strong organisational and communication skills will be invaluable in the production and preparation of promotional graphics for the live productions. Strong language and proofing skills will ensure the production graphics required by the WBD Sports teams are accurate and interesting. You will be working with the London and Paris based design, planning, engineering, and IT teams. You will also be working with the central and regional editorial and production teams who use our cutting-edge sports graphics. The ability to communicate well across a diverse set of teams is critical. You need to be highly organised, methodical, autonomous and have incredible attention to detail. You should enjoy working in a dynamic and changing environment. The Job: - Working alongside the Production Graphics Designer & Support Coordinator for the London and Paris based teams. - Quality Assurance and rollout of graphics templates. - Working with planning teams to ensure smooth production and rollout of promotional graphics. - Working with GFX Ops in PCRs to ensure smooth running of productions. - Assisting on troubleshooting and investigations during live production. - Assisting to resolve design issues. - Predominantly an 9 to 5, office-based role with potential for partial hybrid working. - This is a 12-month fixed term contract role. You have: - A good understanding of graphics systems, for example Viz, Chyron or any other similar system. - Experience in live graphics operation is advantageous. - A love of sports and a good knowledge of the sports world. - Story telling ability to enhance the sports. - Outstanding communication skills. - Strong organisational skills. - Top class attention to detail, particularly spelling and grammar. - Positive can-do attitude. - Self-motivated problem solver. - Ability to work in a fast-changing time sensitive environment. Metrics: - The Broadcast Graphics team is responsible for graphics across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa: - Production, presentation, branding, automated, commercial graphics. - 100 feeds - 19 diverse and prestigious Brands - Delivering over 3 million graphics annually in 13 languages - Ensure a 99.99% accuracy rating on all graphics. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
