We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team based at our manufacturing facility in Barton-upon-Humber. The role will be Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30 with possibility of rotating shift pattern. Main Responsibilities: To carry out planned and reactive maintenance. Providing rapid and professional response to breakdowns. Fault finding, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems. To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements both for PPM and reactive works. Utilising the CMMS system to record all works (ShireSystem). Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed. Adhering to the Company’s compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures. Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner. To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude. Complete any other associated task requested by the management. About You Key Skills and desires: Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and relevant experience An ability to work well under pressure Good verbal and written communication skills.
