Job summary Fixed Term: 12 months | Part-time: 22.5 hrs per week We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our friendly Metabolic Bone therapy team for 12 months. You will work as part of an integrated team, providing high-quality care to children. You will assess children with a variety of needs, creating personalised treatment plans. You'll manage your own caseload while collaborating with a diverse team to provide care. With support from senior therapists, you will continue developing your skills in metabolic bone therapy through ongoing professional training, peer support, and a preceptorship programme. Main duties of the job Reporting into the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: Conduct advanced occupational therapy assessments for children with different symptoms and difficulties. Provide a diagnosis, related to occupational therapy, and develop tailored treatment plans for each child. Independently manage your own caseload, within this defined service. Develop knowledge in the field of metabolic bone therapy To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as a developing autonomous practitioner and access the advice, training and support from senior therapists within the team.
