We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer that is experiencing continuous growth. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining production machinery, ensuring maximum productivity. You will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, working within health and safety regulations. Supported by a strong team of engineers, this position offers progressive training and development in a secure and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring quick repairs to minimize downtime.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance across the facility.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all plant equipment is compliant and fit for purpose.
* Coordinate and manage external contractors when required.
* Oversee apprentices, providing guidance and support in their development.
