About the role

You will be responsible for
* Implement product management into the team
* Evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and the long-term roadmap
* Proactively partner with peers and senior team members to set the strategic direction of the product as part of the wider business strategy
* Understand key user personas, customers & team members for the product and their difficulties.
* Accountable for the performance/adoption of the product and work towards achieving the Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)
* Prioritise work and resolve trade-offs with peers and senior leaders
* Detail and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories with acceptance criteria and help the team in breaking down sophisticated work into smaller, result-oriented chunks that can be delivered faster.
* Steer sprint/release planning sessions by working with the engineering counterparts to plan sprints/releases that deliver maximum business value with the least effort
* Drive the acceptance and adoption of ideas and improvements with product teams and engineering partners
* Prioritise, coordinate, and communicate the resolution of live product issues independently
* Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams on short-term tasks/near-term priorities
* Be the subject matter authority for Workplace Technology, building on your history of delivering value to customers within this product area.
You will need
* A strong awareness of Workplace technologies, for example, End User Devices, Microsoft efficiency technologies such as M365, identity, collaboration and communication technologies.
* Ability to appraise and analyse the results of customer research and use the results to influence product outcomes and strategic goals.
* Knowledge of how diverse personas or customer groups perceive, understand and experience the product in different ways
* Understanding of how large technology systems should interact with each other and supervise health metrics (uptime, SLOs, response time, etc)
* Experience in setting the vision and strategy for the product area and developing and baselining the product's OKRs
* Engagement in market research, using insights to shape the vision and strategic direction of the product in line with business and technology goals and customer expectations.
* Skill in using various data types in different situations and knowing when to use quantitative and/or qualitative data
* Understanding of the Product Management lifecycle, product delivery process, and the importance of an Agile demeanor to discover, design, define, develop and deliver small increments of the most important opportunities that will drive growth and value for the product
* Knowledge of the importance of using data to prioritise and adopting a consistent approach to prioritisation
* Ability to use relevant tools to produce and update roadmaps for the product
* Understanding of the importance of a product roadmap in creating consensus from partners and other teams
