About the Role
The Digital, Data and Technology (DDAT) directorate has recently been established within UKEF, bringing together digital expertise from across the organisation. This directorate represents digital services, user-centred design, analytics, and technology at the highest levels. The areas within the directorate work closely with all parts of the business, including the Business Group, Operations, and Strategy and Policy.

This role requires you to develop and maintain NodeJS applications, integrate with third-party APIs, write clean and efficient code, and create End-to-End, Unit, and API tests. Effective communication with project stakeholders is also essential to ensure alignment on technical decisions and project goals.
By the end of the contract, you will have gained valuable experience in developing secure government services based on the Technology Code of Practice (TCOP) and the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard. This includes ensuring that all digital products and services meet the highest security standards and comply with government regulations. You will gain experience in implementing best practices for security, privacy, and accessibility, making sure that the services are robust, secure, and user-friendly.
