About the Role
We are seeking a Engineer Scheduler to join a well-established company that supplies innovative equipment and solutions to leading retailers across the UK. Based at the Tibshelf office, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance activities to ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities of Engineer Scheduler
Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency, operational impact, and resource availability.
Triage and manage job acceptances through customer portals and internal systems.
Ensure that all work orders are completed on time, adhering to customer SLAs and KPIs.
Monitor the progress of maintenance activities and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
Assist the line manager with departmental responsibilities and tasks as required.
Oversee and manage customer portal accounts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications of Engineer Scheduler
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Enthusiastic and a strong team player with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Experienced in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
Confident communicator, capable of liaising effectively at all levels via phone and email.
Strong customer service skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
Previous experience in transport or fleet management, including route planning and resource optimization.
