Job Summary: The Corporate TA team is supporting the delivery of several key projects to enhance our employee experience, develop our people and create a culture of high performance. We are looking for someone who can lead on one or more of these initiatives as well as providing expertise across all areas of the function.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Project leadership – delivering a specific project to time, cost and quality, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout.
2. Working collaboratively with other members of the TA team to ensure alignment between different strands of work.
3. Driving improvements in recruitment processes and systems, including use of new technology such as video interviewing and AI screening tools.
4. Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse talent into the organisation, working closely with internal diversity groups and external partners.
5. Ensuring we have a robust approach to managing contingent workers, including agency staff and contractors.
6. Supporting leaders to understand their role in creating a positive candidate experience, particularly around redeployment of at-risk colleagues.
7. Providing coaching and mentoring support to early career HR professionals within the wider People team.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in leading a recruitment team.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders quickly.
4. Excellent organisational skills.
5. Proactive approach to problem solving.
6. Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and take ownership for driving change forward.
7. Experience using Workday Recruiting system highly desirable.
8. Experience in public sector or utilities industry highly desirable.
