The role: RISK Intelligence Specialist- 12 month Fixed-term contract
You will be joining the Engineering Strategy and Transformation team, which is at the forefront of changing the way British Airways operates and maintains its aircraft. We will be using the latest tools, techniques, and technologies to maximise the impact Engineering has in the short, medium, and long term.
What you’ll do:
1. Compile and analyse data to identify risks and potential impact on Engineering operations
2. Generate scheduled monthly and ad-hoc Risk Reports for senior leadership
3. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical events to assess potential risks
4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and relevance of risk assessments
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
5. Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyse data from multiple sources
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
7. Strong written communication skills for producing clear and concise reports
8. Ability to interpret complex information and communicate findings effectively
9. Analytical mindset
10. Proactive approach to risk management
11. Strong research skills
12. Written communication proficiency
Your experience:
13. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
14. Previous experience in risk management, market analysis, or similar roles preferred
15. Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and market dynamics is advantageous
