A defence/security technology contractor require a Supply Chain Manager. Applicants need full lifecycle procurement expertise, including bid support and supplier management experience gained within a defence, aerospace or manufacturing/engineering project delivery setting. The Supply Chain Manager will serve as a Supply Chain Business Partner to their stakeholder communities, offering both a strategic and operational procurement competency to new and existing programmes. Programmes are across the public and private sectors, including law enforcement, aerospace, and government. Reporting to a Supply Chain Programme Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with technical stakeholders and supply chain colleagues. The role can be worked remotely up to 60%. Specific Duties Of The Supply Chain Manager Include Stakeholder partnering and relationship building - understand their technical requirements Support bid work from a procurement/supply chain perspective, developing supplier capability Implement procurement and supply chain strategies for assigned projects/programmes Subcontractor Management across; technical services, electromechanical, PCBs and electronics Contractual contract management activities Supply Chain Managers Should Meet The Following Criteria Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager or Subcontract Management expertise Previous experience supporting bids and bidding activities Experience gained within aerospace, defence, manufacturing or engineering sectors Stakeholder partnering and relationship building skills Knowledge of PCBA, PCB, electromechanical and technical services supplier landscape is advantageous Ability to obtain UK Security Clearence
